Washington DC's First Church-Family Retreat
Over the weekend of July 10-12, 2009 around one hunderd thirty members of our DC church gathered at the Sandy Cove Christian Retreat Center, beautifully located on the Chesapeake Bay, for a church-family retreat. Drawing from Isaiah 54:7 (no weapon formed against thee shall prosper) and with a vision to strengthen both our corporate spiritual family and our many individual physical families, we enjoyed breakout seminars (youth, marriage, women and men), activities, worship and prayer.
